• When filling committee roles, there are a number of variables that are considered by BOMA staff, Committee Chairs, and Board Champions:
• All committee members must be dues paying members of BOMA Greater Minneapolis who have shown interest and involvement in the regular events and meetings hosted by BOMA.
• Each committee may have a different requirement for number of members involved and this must be taken into consideration when placing individuals on a committee.
• Committees should reflect a variety of companies, levels of expertise, experiences, and membership types (if applicable).
• Committee members should focus their time and talents on one committee. This ensures that a lower rate of burn out of our committee members and also provides the maximum number of participation opportunities for all members.
• Committee members are not to serve on a parallel committee for another commercial real estate organization. This helps to maintain the integrity of the ideas and work for each organization.
