The Ethics Is Good Business Short Course aims to equip individuals with the necessary tools to make ethical decisions. This course provides valuable information that serves as a framework for analyzing and addressing ethical problems. Throughout the duration of the course, participants will engage with passages that reinforce key concepts and explore specific case studies that highlight the importance of having a strong ethical foundation in decision-making. 6 CEU's Approved!

Upon successful completion of the course, learners will be able to: 

  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of fundamental ethical terms. 
  • Gain insight into moral reasoning. 
  • Identify potential ethical challenges and apply two theoretical ethical approaches to address them. 
  • Resolve complex issues by utilizing an ethical decision-making model. 
  • Provide examples of companies that embrace a triple bottom line philosophy and explore ways to implement this concept within their own organization.

About the Instructor:

Dave Wright recently retired as Vice President of Property Management for Newmark, a full-service international real estate services firm. He has over 40 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry.  He's been a member of Greater Minneapolis BOMA since 1983. He has been an instructor in BOMI’s (Building Owners and Managers Institute) Real Property Administrator (RPA) curriculum for the last 10 years.
