Advance Notice of Sale Hearing

Description

The City of Minneapolis is considering requiring public notice of Advanced Notice of Sale for commercial buildings of owner names and contact information with the City of Minneapolis public records 60 days before listing a property,  marketing for sale, entering into a purchase agreement or putting up a for sale sign.  In addition all contact information of the tenants must also be provided.  Once a sale is completed, ownership information must be provided to the city within 30 days or be subjected to potential criminal prosecution, fines, restrictions or penalties.
