First Avenue Road Reconstruction

Description

City staff have volunteered to meet with BOMA members to discuss 1st Avenue road reconstruction.  The city is proposing to reconstruct half a mile of 1st Avenue North, between Washington Ave and 8th Street North. 

Some of the project goals are to build and improve:

• wide, accessible sidewalks and crossings
• green storm water infrastructure
• lighting and public art
• active public spaces
• traffic signals
• wayfinding and signage
• underground utilities
